The results of the requirements engineering in these companies, whether positive or negative, may be analyzed against how faithful the methods used were to the academic researches on requirements engineering (Berenbach, 2009, 12). The results will give a good head start for further researches on the relationship of the output of requirements engineering in companies to how well the processes followed the academic data available.
